Job summary

Job description
  • Plan and monitoring manpower arrangement, execution of production plans to ensure timely production and delivery to meet customer’s requirement, continuously review the practices to optimize efficiency.
  • Work closely with business operation, procurement, and warehouse team to align production plans with order commitments, inventory levels and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up the daily movement of work in process (WIP) and revise plans proactively when priorities shift or unexpected issues arise.
  • Assists in managing inventory by ensuring production output aligns with demand and stock strategies.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in the ERP system, including BOMs and lead times.
  • Support new product development (NPD) by coordinating trial runs and capacity planning with R&D, BO and production teams.
  • Review production progress daily, identify bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain on-time delivery.
  • Generate recurring reports covering utilization of production capacity and on-time delivery.
  • Ensure all planning activities comply with food safety, quality and regulatory standards (e.g. HACCP, GMP, Halal).
  • To perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology/Manufacturing/Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of related working experience in production planning, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG, contract/OEM production environments.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with number and eye for details.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be willing to work long hours/ on call.
