Job summary

A leading provider of sensory experience solutions is seeking a Production Manager to oversee production activities in Johor. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 7 to 10 years of experience in production management, particularly in the electronics or semiconductor industries. Responsibilities include planning production schedules, ensuring quality, and leading production teams. This is a full-time position with working hours from 8.30am-5.30pm, five days a week.

Notably, they are the sole micro-component manufacturing company from China ranked in the top 10 company in China.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations in alignment with the Plant Managers direction.
• Plan, execute, and track production schedules to meet output, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Monitor and control production processes to uphold high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
• Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining workflows and implementing Lean, Kaizen, and 5S practices.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate production teams through effective supervision, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to achieve overall business objectives.
• Maintain equipment reliability, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide regular reports on key production KPIs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years of proven experience in production or operations management.
• Background in electronics, precision manufacturing, or semiconductor industries is an added advantage.
