a) To plan, organize, lead and control all production activities in supporting and achieving Company’s objectives.
b) Effective people management towards achieving SBU and Company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Production:
- Manage and monitor production activities which include mixing, cutting, printing, bundling, packing, and other production related activities to effectively perform daily planning activities to meet production yield and delivery.
- Develop plans and strategies to continuously achieve product and quality expectations.
- Develop operating standards for each process to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and product quality.
- Achieve production line quantity and output as per target set by Department Head.
- Ensure the correct program, material, process check list are according to the specified product.
- Constant awareness and practice of technical skills.
- Check quality yield status and if defects increase above margin, take immediate action or report to the Manager.
- Reduce the production wastage.
- Ensure all production process adhere to the working instructions.
- Maintenance:
- Determine machine status, line schedule, model and balance quantity to ensure efficient shift work.
- Implement the scheduling/ periodic maintenance check list.
- Ensure machine are well maintain to reduce down time.
- Trouble shoot minor machinery problems to ensure minimum down time.
- Ensure efficiency (machine and products) during shift changeover.
- Monitor worker’s discipline (including 5S).
- Implement improvement projects to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Business studies, Food Science, or relevant fields.
- At least 5 year(s) and above of relevant working experience, preferably in FMCG / Organic background.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel nationwide if required.
- 5 working days per week and willing to work at Sungai Petani.
