  • Collaborate with engineering for tooling and design.
  • Identify nonconforming materials and coordinate resolution.
  • Verify parts and process upon engineering changes.
  • Develop and maintain documents like Work Instructions.
  • Plan and control daily production activities.
  • Operate machinery and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Work with departments on material and process changes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOP, ISO, IATF, and 5S.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects in manufacturing.
  • Monitor workers' performance and attendance.
  • Train new workers.
  • Prepare monthly production reports.
  • Initiate continuous improvements for safety and quality.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • To lead production teams to meet or exceed operational goals in safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
  • To ensure forming readiness—inspect machinery, mould and material prior to set‑up.
  • To collaborate with engineering members regarding product tooling and design to ensure efficient production.
  • To identify nonconforming materials/products and work with related department for resolution.
  • To verify parts, jigs and process upon any engineering changes.
  • To develop and maintain documents such as Work Instructions, Process Specifications, Jigs & Fixtures list, etc.
  • To plan, coordinate and control daily production process and activities, including OT hours to achieve daily and monthly output.
  • Able to understand or operate the machine and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • To work closely within and with other departments for any issue and change required on the material, tooling, process improvement & product quality assurance.
  • To enforce and ensure shop floor compliance with SOP, ISO, IATF and 5S requirements.
  • To participate/lead continuous improvement projects relating to manufacturing processes or product quality.
  • To ensure maximum efficiency of productivity including manpower/machine planning, set‑up time, production rate and material consumption.
  • Able to optimise current parameter settings for all products to improve productivity and cost‑saving purposes.
  • To participate in cross‑functional teams to manage customer complaints and nonconforming material investigations.
  • To work on NCR or any quality related matter for quality improvement.
  • To monitor workers’ work performance, discipline and attendance and take necessary disciplinary action with HR advice.
  • To provide training for new workers.
  • To prepare monthly production report (output, capacity, efficiency, rejects, etc).
  • To initiate continuous improvement or apply Kaizen’s practice on safety, quality, productivity and environment.
  • Possess knowledge of IATF will be added advantage.
  • Other tasks assigned by company from time to time.
