Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all production and quality related activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
  2. Collaborates with colleagues across departments to identify needs, process bottlenecks and to develop solutions to enable timely, efficient, and accountable operations.
  3. Overseeing overall production management.
  4. Ensure compliance to GMP & HACCP Food Safety procedures.
  5. Responsible for the factory’s day-to-day operations in achieving planned and overall objectives.
  6. Develop and assist in achieving performance targets with KPI for all production and operations related functions.
  7. Provide motivation and training to factory staff and workers in order to achieve the KPI.
  8. Handle non-conformance issues, investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions for the prevention of incidents related to products, processes and quality activities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to the food Industry.
  2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in a production environment including at least 3 years in senior management.
  3. Good knowledge in quality management including GMP and food safety standards in the workplace.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at various levels.
  5. Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of a changing work environment.
  6. Knowledge and experience in GMP, HACCP, FSSC and/or ISO 22000 procedures are an asset.
  7. Experience in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma will be an advantage.
  8. Possess strong leadership, analytical, good communication and interactive skills.
