Job description

The Production Executive is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and improving daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within the manufacturing environment. This role involves managing manpower, monitoring production processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and timelines.

2) Ensure product quality meets specifications and take corrective actions when deviations occur.

3) Monitor production processes, equipment performance, and machine utilization.

4) Investigate production abnormalities, machine downtime, and quality defects.

5) Perform structured root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues and problem solving.

6) Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent issue recurrence.

7) Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and follow up with cross-functional teams.

8) Coordinate with cross-functional departments (Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning) to ensure smooth workflow

9) Implement and support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

10) Prepare and maintain production reports, including output, downtime, material usage, and performance metrics.

11) Manage and allocate manpower, ensuring adequate staffing and training of operators.

12) Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a safe working environment.

13) Maintain 5S and good housekeeping in production areas.

14) Support internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.) .

15) Control production costs and participate in cost-saving programs.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate / Bachelor in Business Administration / Management or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in related field is required for this position.
• Prior experience as a production planner in the industry preferred.
• Good understanding of the industry market trends and condition.
• Familiar with SAP System
• Good understanding of inventory management.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good inter-personal skills & communication skills.
