  • Work with design and engineering teams to estimate costs for new product introduction and design changes.
  • Analyze cost drivers such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, coating, assembly, and packaging.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to validate raw material and component pricing (e.g., Sheet metal, cables, fasteners, etc).
  • Track and report manufacturing efficiency, yield losses, and production waste that impact cost performance.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities through process optimization, material utilization and design-for-manufacturability improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely cost data entry in ERP system (SAP).
  • Prepare detailed production cost reports, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
  • Experience in lean manufacturing, cost optimization or continuous improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with CAD Drawings and engineering change management.
  • Understanding of design-for-cost and design-for-manufacturing principles.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or related QMS.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing or manufacturing within metal fabrication or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes such as CNC turret punching, laser cutting, bending, welding, powder coating and assembly.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP system (preferably SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and numerical reasoning abilities.
