Job description

We are looking for a proactive Production Coordinator to join our newly established heavy machinery assembly facility in Seremban – Sendayan Techvalley, supporting underground load and haul equipment.

About the Division

The Load & Haul Division, the home of Sandvik loaders and trucks for underground mining business. Here we are safer, stronger, and smarter, as we like to say it. We have been the market leader in accelerating diesel and battery-electric equipment development, with sharpened priorities. We work in close co-operation with the sales areas within the Sandvik Mining Business Area, to provide the best possible service for our customers. Load & Haul home based in Turku, Finland. Additionally, we have operations in Camarillo, USA | Changzhou, China | Khomanani, South Africa as well in Seremban, Malaysia.

About the Role
1. SAP Management
  • To manage material consumption - update material assigned to production and upon operation completion
  • To manage and update Operator Cockpit - start operation, update hours, close operation & data accuracy
  • To perform analysis of Production operations compared to Standard Hours, identify variances and report to management
  • To identify trends and development in cycle time and labour hours for each operations of various time periods
2. Administrations
  • To monitor and update daily production progress report
  • Liaise with HR Department for Human Resources matters especially related to Workers well-being
  • To assist production in any request for administration work such as copying, printing and others
  • To assist managements in office matters
  • To handle administration matter for all workers in Production Department
  • To manage and update Unit MRC / UCV report
  • To manage and develop tools inventory in production.
3. Parts & Stock Control
  • To monitor stock of materials availability to ensure production will not come to a halt
  • To make arrangement and technical study for any parts in case of damage in Production
  • To make visualization to ensure alltool is properly stored and managed
  • To study parts required / unit of machine being produced
  • To make SOP and Supporting Documents whenever is required to ensure stock control is at optimum
  • Follow up pending materials from related PIC
4. Purchasing Process
  • To manage and raise order for production tools, equipment and other requirement
  • To maintain stock and raise order if needed for Chemicals such as Diesel, Coolants, Engine Oils, and others
  • To maintain stock and raise order if needed for consumables such as PPEs, Sub Materials
  • To monitor missingpart and to raise order for In house damage parts
  • To receive incoming materials and proceed until DO and Invoice sent to Logistics

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in production coordination role within heavy machinery assembly or manufacturing industry
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
