Job description

Are you driven, results-oriented and a team player?

With 17,000+ retailers and restaurants in over 15 countries, StoreHub is on a mission to enable everyone, big or small, to build successful businesses.

At StoreHub, we're building a dream team whereby all of your colleagues are extraordinary at what they do and are highly effective collaborators.

It is in such a team that you learn the most, perform your best work, improve the fastest, and have the most fun.

This role is part of our Customer Success team and focuses on delivering trainings. As an Onboarding Specialist at StoreHub, your main responsibility is to deliver high-quality POS trainings for new merchants.

The team will handle scheduling and coordination with the merchant. You take over once a session is booked — review the deal and handover notes, prepare for the session, and run clear, practical trainings either online or onsite (including travel to other states when needed).

This is a hands‑on training role, not a sales role. Your success is measured by the number of trainings you complete, the quality of your sessions, and the support load after training (e.g. number of tickets raised).

Key Responsibilities

Prepare for each training session

Review the merchant’s package, deal information, and handover notes from Sales and MOM.

Confirm training details with the merchant (date, time, online/onsite, expected attendees).

Check that login access and basic setup are ready so the training can run smoothly.

Deliver Full POS trainings

Conduct Full POS trainings for cashiers, supervisors, outlet managers, and owners.

Walk them through key workflows such as opening/closing shift, taking orders, applying discounts, collecting payments, and viewing basic reports.

Use simple, practical examples that match their business type (café, restaurant, retail shop).

Deliver advanced feature trainings

Run focused sessions on advanced features (e.g. reporting and analytics, promotions/discounts, table management, basic inventory and stock, loyalty or customer management) when required.

Help merchants understand how these features support their daily operations and decisions.

Run online and onsite trainings

Host online trainings via tools like Zoom or Google Meet.

Travel for onsite trainings at merchant locations, including outside Klang Valley when needed.

Represent StoreHub professionally and maintain a positive, helpful presence during all sessions.

Handover and follow‑up

Summarise what was covered after each training and highlight any action items for the merchant (e.g. complete menu upload, add new users).

Log training notes, key questions, and potential risks in our internal systems (e.g. Salesforce, Intercom).

Flag follow‑up needs or issues to MOM or Support (Care) so they can take the next action.

Improve training quality over time

Observe common questions and post‑training issues, and refine your approach to reduce confusion.

Share feedback with the team to improve training guides, materials, and the overall onboarding process.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-have

At least 1 year in a customer‑facing role, such as trainer, customer support, customer success, implementation, or F&B/retail operations (e.g. supervisor, floor manager, outlet trainer).

Comfortable speaking to groups and answering questions live, both online and face‑to‑face.

Able to explain systems and processes in clear, step‑by‑step language, especially to people who are not tech‑savvy.

Strong sense of responsibility and organisation – you prepare properly, show up on time, and follow through on tasks.

Willing and able to travel for onsite trainings, including to other states.

Nice‑to‑have

Experience with POS systems, F&B/retail operations, or SaaS products.

Familiarity with tools like Lark or Slack and any CRM or ticketing system (e.g. Salesforce, Intercom, Zendesk).

Traits that help you succeed

Patient and empathetic when dealing with different learning speeds and tech comfort levels.

Confident but humble — you are willing to repeat, rephrase, and demonstrate until the merchant understands.

Practical mindset — you connect features to real daily operations at the outlet.

Enjoy teaching and get satisfaction from seeing others become confident with new systems.

Why Join Us

You make go‑live less stressful for merchants

You are the person who turns “I’m nervous about this new system” into “I can handle this every day” through your training.

Become an expert in POS and F&B/retail workflows

You will gain deep, hands‑on understanding of how cafés, restaurants, and shops run using modern POS technology.

Clear, measurable impact

Your performance is visible through the number of trainings you deliver, merchant feedback, and the reduction of tickets after training.

Real growth opportunities

Strong performers can grow into Senior Trainer, Training Lead, Merchant Onboarding Manager, or other Customer Success roles.

Supportive, cross‑functional team

Work closely with onboarding, sales, support, and product teams in a fast‑moving tech company serving thousands of merchants.
