Job description

This role is part of the Housebrand Team and is responsible for managing assigned outlets to ensure product availability, visibility, and sell-through. This position focuses on strengthening brand presence through effective merchandising execution, outlet staff training, and fostering strong relationships with retail partners to drive overall brand performance.

Responsibilities:
Outlet Coverage & Relationship Building
  • Visit assigned outlets on a pre-approved schedule – Monthly action plan.
  • Build strong rapport with outlet staff, pharmacists, and supervisors.
  • Act as the key contact point for outlet-level inquiries and issues.
Product Training & Promotion
  • Train outlet staff on product knowledge and selling points.
  • Support in-store product activations and promotional activities.
  • Ensure outlets actively recommend products to end customers.
  • Check stock levels, expiry dates, and product displays.
  • Ensure correct pricing, POSM materials, and shelf placement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and share market intelligence.
Inventory Management
  • Check stock availability during visits.
  • Inform immediately when products are Out-of-Stock (OOS) or low in quantity.
  • Track outlet sell-through trends and provide timely updates.
Reporting & Feedback
  • Submit weekly outlet visit reports (sales, feedback, competitor activities).
  • Highlight market trends and customer insights for management review.
  • Suggest improvement ideas for sales growth and marketing support.
Others
  • Carry out other related duties or ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the superior.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field (\"preferably\" in Marketing, Sales, Retail Management, or related disciplines)
  • Well versed in English and Malay; Mandarin is an added advantage due to the nature of supplier communication.
  • Able and willing to travel within the northern region, with occasional travel to HQ in Selangor for meetings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.
  • Fresh Graduates or experienced candidate are encouraged to apply.
