Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Create and update motor lists and sensor lists for the wiring diagram supplier.
• Match each machine with the correct motor and sensor, using clear tags and names.
• Plan cable tray routes from panels to each machine and sensor.
• Estimate cable lengths and choose practical sizes with a small safety margin.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors.
• Assist in developing cost estimates for design projects and provide input on materials, labour, and project timelines.
• Ensure project timeline is met, and project stays within budget.
