About the role

UC Biosciences is expanding our diagnostics business in Northern Malaysia and is looking for a Product Specialist to Senior Product Specialist to join our growing team.

This is a remote-based position, suitable for a self-driven individual who is disciplined, well-organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The role involves promoting our diagnostic portfolio, managing customer relationships, and supporting business growth across hospitals, laboratories, and medical clinics.

What you\'ll be doing

• Promote a portfolio of Rapid Diagnostic Tests, Clinical Diagnostic Reagents, and Point-of-Care Testing systems
• Develop new accounts within hospitals, clinical laboratories, and medical clinics
• Manage and grow existing customers to achieve sales and coverage targets
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales product support to customers
• Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information
• Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and logistics teams remotely
• Prepare regular activity reports, forecasts, and customer updates
• Plan and manage territory coverage independently and efficiently

What we\'re looking for

• Experience as a Product Specialist, Sales Executive, or similar role in medical devices or diagnostics
• Candidates with 3 to 7+ years experience will be considered, seniority commensurate with experience
• Background in IVD diagnostics, rapid tests, reagents, or point-of-care systems will be highly advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
• Proven ability to work independently, responsibly, and with minimal supervision
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Highly organized, disciplined, and capable of managing remote work effectively
• Degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within Malaysia as required
