Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm is seeking a Product Specialist in Petaling Jaya. You'll build a strong understanding of IGA products, support pre-sales activities, and assist with product documentation. Position Title: Product Specialist

Working Location: Damansara Utama

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to RM5,5 00 + Parking Allowance + Flexi Bonus + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a strong working understanding of the IGA product, including user Joiner / Mover / Leaver (JML) processes, access request and approval workflows, role and entitlement management, access reviews/certification campaigns, and reporting/audit use cases.
  • Provide internal support and guidance on product‑related questions.
  • Support pre‑sales activities such as product demos and walkthroughs, Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) support, and responding to technical questions from customers and partners.
  • Join customer meetings when needed to help gather requirements and explain product capabilities.
  • Support implementation teams with solution configuration and testing.
  • Help analyse and troubleshoot functional or integration issues involving Active Directory / LDAP, databases (basic SQL), and application integrations/APIs.
  • Gather feedback from customers and internal teams, and share improvement suggestions with the Product Manager.
  • Assist in preparing product documentation and user guides, demo data and sample scenarios, and internal training/enablement materials.

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical role (e.g., software development, system administration, application support/technical consulting, cybersecurity, or IAM).
  • Basic understanding of identity and access concepts (users, roles, permissions) and workflow/approval‑based systems.
  • Exposure to Active Directory / LDAP, SQL databases, and/or REST APIs is an advantage.
  • Experience with IAM / IGA products (e.g., SailPoint, One Identity, Saviynt) is an advantage but not required.
  • Pre‑sales/customer‑facing experience, compliance/audit exposure (e.g., ISO 27001, PDPA), or experience supporting regulated industries is a plus.
