Job summary

A leading telecommunications provider is seeking an Assistant Product Manager/Product Executive to support their Product Department. Responsibilities include tracking competitors, preparing performance reports, and managing product enhancements. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related field, experience in product or marketing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Company Background:

We are representing our client, which is a reputable telco provider based in Sri Petalingwith nationwide operations. As their expansion, they are looking for Assistant Product Manager /ProductExecutiveto join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Product Department in daily tasks and projects.
  • Track competitors and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Provide monthly insights on demographics and product performance (core & non-core).
  • Assist in managing new or enhanced products and projects from concept to execution.
  • Help build pricing models and keep product documentation updated.
  • Coordinate with IT, Marketing, Customer Experience & other teams on GTM activities.
  • Track, monitor, and report performance of non-core products (e.g., WOWchers, insurance).
  • Conduct research on market trends and customer needs to spot new opportunities.
  • Prepare FAQs, briefing notes, and supporting materials for product launches.
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks that offer exposure across functions.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience in product, marketing, or a related function/industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Working Hours & Days: 9am to 6pm (Mon-Fri)
