Product Analyst
About the Role

We are seeking a Product Analyst who is excited about developing and innovating financing solutions that meet market needs. As part of this role, you will be responsible for assisting with and leading the product development cycle for CapBay’s financing products and translate data into insights that drive product decisions, improve customer outcomes, and manage financial and risk performance.

This position requires you to have strong problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to think outside the box and with great interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will get to understand multiple aspects of the business, including the commercial, credit, operational, risk, legal and product development matters.

Responsibilities
  • Assess market opportunities by identifying market gaps via consulting Sales and Business Strategy teams and propose financing products relevant to the target market.
  • End-to-end product development including outlining clear goals and strategies for the product, as well as potential risks, challenges and opportunities.
  • Conduct research on product features and practice to ensure that the product remains competitive and compliant to all regulations.
  • Conduct market research and perform competitor benchmarking to improve our existing products offering to remain competitive.
  • Project manage the launch of the new products with internal and external stakeholders, providing alignment and direction to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Opportunity to work across departments to gain vast exposure within the industry.
  • Negotiate and work with external stakeholders/ partners to deliver relevant program, this will include regulatory bodies Securities Commission and Masryef.
  • Monitor and provide updates on business performance analytics.
  • Analyse end-to-end product performance across onboarding, transaction, repayment and settlement flows.
  • Build and maintain Excel-based models, trackers, and ad-hoc analyses for product performance, revenue, and portfolio metrics.
  • Create dashboards and recurring reports for product and leadership teams.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field with strong interest in digital financing products or FinTech industry.
  • 1 - 2 years working experience in a similar role is ideal. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • A self starter and someone who is keen to learn and takes initiative to enhance knowledge and skill sets.
  • Demonstrates problem solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skill, stakeholder management and time management capabilities.
  • Strong data analytical skills are required, along with a meticulous and numerically inclined approach.
