A leading sustainability firm in Johor Bahru seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage all procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline and a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement. Responsibilities include managing procurement documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with contracts. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and fluency in Mandarin are preferred. This is a great opportunity for career advancement and offers performance bonuses.

Undertakes all aspects of procurement in accordance to the established processes and procedures, including process purchase requisition, prepare purchase order and all procurement related documents.
Updates and maintains all procurement related documents.
Manages non-conformities on purchases and supplies.
Processes and submits appeal requests on unsatisfactory material grading upon receiving feedback from operation side.
Liaises and maintains professional working relationship with external stakeholders.
Coordinates with site operation office on acknowledgement of purchases and delivery
Drafts contract for management approval
Administers contracts related to procurement and supply across the organization.
Provides report to management as required
Performs any ad-hoc jobs as and when assigned by management.
Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in business discipline field or other related field, preferably with focus on procurement and supply management.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in purchasing and procurement activities (desirable) or related fields.
Experience in contract management and good understanding on procurement and commercial contract.
Ability to work in proactive and reliable manner, both independently and as a team.
Strong ability in use of computerised business system and Microsoft Office applications (at least intermediate level) such as Microsoft Office, Excel. Access and etc.
Ability to work under fast-paced environment with time constraint, while maintaining high standard of accuracy and efficient process.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop report or written documents, briefing, negotiate with external stakeholders and etc.
Good interpersonal skills and are able to engage with staffs from other departments including operations, account, marketing and etc.
Fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking customers.
Possesses own transport and willing to work on alternate Saturday half day.
