About the Company

Our client is aleading Malaysian snack food company known for its instant noodles, chips, and the iconic snacks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee & manage material availability at site to enable smooth production run including but not limited to timely arrival, in full quantity and first time right of quality.
  • Periodic review with production and planning team on material movement trend, forecast accuracy, holding stock optimization.
  • Lead improvement plan with vendor and stakeholders on timely arrival, quality non conformance.
  • Collaborate with project team in new product development and facilitate new material arrival in time for launch.
  • Develop and implement new way of working that improves efficiency, analyzing data to make informed decisions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate problem solving methodologies and collaborate with cross functional teams to improve current practice.
  • Proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to maximize productivity and achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and support team member in enhancing procurement skill (coaching, guidance).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, finance, economics, business administration or relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably FMCG Food.
  • Strong analytical skill in Microsoft excel, power point and SAP tool.
  • Able to thrive in fast pace and rapid changing environment.
  • Confident, self starter and positive mindset and able to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in FMCG Supply chain management and extensive operational knowledge will be highly valued.
