Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the strategic planning and execution of our procurement activities. This role requires strong negotiation and supplier management skills to ensure the timely procurement of materials and equipment, supporting business needs while optimizing costs and maintaining quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement procurement strategies based on company needs, optimizing processes to ensure efficient supply of materials; conduct market analysis and source competitive procurement options.
  • Supplier Management and Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, assess and evaluate their performance to ensure stable quality and service; address potential issues through regular communication and continuously optimize supplier performance.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor procurement costs to ensure that targets are met within budget, optimizing cost‑effectiveness; negotiate terms and manage contracts to secure competitive prices and conditions.
  • Risk Management and Quality Control: Identify and manage potential risks in procurement to ensure supply chain stability and continuity; supervise the quality of procured materials, coordinating with quality control teams to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead and develop the procurement team, enhancing efficiency and professional skills; provide training and guidance to team members to support their professional growth.
Key Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5‑8 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role; experience in Intelligent Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Skills and Competencies: Excellent negotiation skills and supplier management abilities, strong sense of cost control; familiarity with procurement processes and ERP systems; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work effectively under pressure; good communication and teamwork abilities; proficiency in both English and Mandarin required, knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
