A leading construction company in Ipoh is looking for a Project Coordinator to manage fit-out schedules and oversee project execution. You will liaise with various stakeholders, monitor site activities, and ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in relevant fields and 2–5 years of experience in similar projects. This role requires on-site presence and the ability to work collaboratively.
Coordinate fit-out schedules, work programs, and timelines.
Liaise with designers, contractors, suppliers, landlords, and internal teams for project execution.
Monitor progress on-site and ensure works are executed according to plans and specifications.
Source, evaluate, and appoint contractors and suppliers.
Ensure contractors comply with site rules, safety standards, and project requirements.
Conduct site meetings and follow up on action items.
Maintain project documentation including drawings, approvals, permits, and handover records.
Prepare progress reports and update management on project status.
Ensure all as-built drawings and manuals are properly archived upon completion.
Coordinate project handover and ensure rectification of defects.
Track defect liability period and liaise with contractors for timely rectification.
Ensure outlets or premises are ready for operations upon completion.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fit-out, renovation, or construction projects.
Other: Willing to travel and work on-site as required.
