Job summary

A leading telecommunications company in Puchong is seeking a Procurement Executive to manage purchasing duties and supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant fields like construction or smart cities. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred to better serve a diverse clientele. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating contracts, and maintaining purchasing records. Working hours may vary between Monday to Saturday during active projects.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with respective departments and suppliers in the purchasing duties
• Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms price, quality, terms , services with suppliers.
• Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents.
• Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure on time delivery.
• Maintain complete updated purchasing records in Accounting Software.
• Analysis of regional and local raw material market, supporting of developing regional purchasing strategy.
• Relationship building with existing supplier.
• Solve suppliers/management related issue in documentation.

Academic & Qualification

• STPM / DIPLOMA / DEGREE

Skill / Experience required

• Minimum requirement 2 years experience in Construction or Data Center or low-voltage integration or smart cities; Preference will be given to candidates with procurement experience in IT hardware and software equipment, electromechanical products, and structured cabling products.
• Good time management skill to meet tight dateline
• Computer Knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Effective organization and interpersonal skill
• Experience in working with multiple suppliers in development of win/win sourcing strategies.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Expert knowledge of leading edge Procurement & Supply Chain Practices
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferable.
• We are looking for Mandarin-speaking candidates to support our Mandarin-speaking clientele.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday during active project periods; reverting to Monday to Friday upon project completion
