Job summary

A leading contract manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive with at least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess advanced Microsoft Office skills along with excellent communication and organizational abilities. This role involves developing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies while working in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Preferably has working experience in a multinational company.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor category plans, budgets and key performance metrics.
• Manage risk such as price changes, supplier reliability, and supply continuity.
• Build strong supplier partnerships ensuring performance and quality.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships across all Procurement activities.
• Contribute to operational excellence within procurement.
• Drive continuous improvement in Procurement capabilities and practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, or supply chain management.
• Industry Experience: Preferably has working experience in a multinational company, with Procurement platform/ -s experience.
• Skill: Advanced Microsoft office skills is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
• Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
