Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking an individual to manage engineering change processes across product lines. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate documentation and coordinating with multiple departments for timely implementation of engineering improvements. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Electronic Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, with Mandarin skills preferred for communication with counterparts in China.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of related working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin to liaise with China counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and executing engineering change processes across product lines
• Ensure accurate report and documentation
• Cross-functional coordination and timely implementation of engineering changes in accordance with company and industry standards
• Manage end-to-end ECN Process, including creation, review, approval, release, and implementation of engineering changes
• Cross functional coordination with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other departments to assess and communicate the impact of proposed changes
• Ensure the engineering documentation (eg. drawings, BOM, specifications) reflects approved changes
• Track and report ECN metrics such as turnaround time, backlog and implementation status

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of related working experience in manufacturing environment
• Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin (to liaise with China counterpart)
