Job summary

A tech-focused manufacturing company in Simpang Ampat is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to drive engineering process development and implementation. Key responsibilities include providing technical support to production teams, implementing Lean manufacturing systems, and establishing standard operating procedures. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or Electrical & Electronics.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in cable and connector industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge of molding processes and engineering process control is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for engineering process development and control for new transfer projects as well as sustaining activities.

Provide technical support, guidance, and engineering related training to production team to ensure the products are built within the specification; ensure machines and equipment are running optimally and cost effectively.

Implement Lean Manufacturing operations and systems to improve production rates and efficiency.

Develop best practices and innovation solutions for yield continual improvement and waste reduction.

Work with Quality team and Production team on customer complaints and provide effective solutions to ensure customers' concern are addressed and resolved effectively.

Establish the system procedures and the standard operating procedures for new processes.

Ensure critical processes and control points are properly controlled for consistent performance.

Work on Kaizen and improvement projects.

Keep workplace safe and healthy by ensuring that policies and safety procedures are followed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical or Electrical & Electronics engineering or equivalent.

At least 3 to 5 years' of relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.

Candidates with experiences in cable and connector industry will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of molding process is an added advantage.

Knowledge of engineering process control and improvement activities.

Good verbal and written communication in English.

Good in the skill of data analysis and statistical aptitude.

Excellent attention to detail.
