Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in yield, cost, and quality.
  Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
  Design and implement process changes and new technologies to enhance operational performance and product quality.
• Technical Troubleshooting & Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for the production floor, providing rapid and effective troubleshooting for complex process abnormalities.
  Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality deviations, equipment malfunctions, and process failures, implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  Manage process parameters to ensure safe, stable, and consistent operations.
• Quality & Compliance Stewardship: Ensure all processes adhere to internal quality standards and external regulations, including ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
  Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), and Process Control Plans.
  Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to validate processes and reduce the cost of poor quality.
• Data Analysis & Project Management: Utilize statistical analysis and data‑driven techniques (SPC) to monitor process stability and capability.
  Lead and manage capital and process improvement projects from conception through commissioning, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  Prepare detailed reports and presentations on process performance, project status, and improvement opportunities for management.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and R&D teams to launch new products and ensure a smooth scale‑up from pilot to full production.
  Provide technical training and guidance to production operators and technicians.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a process engineering role within a chemical, battery materials, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environment. Exceptional new graduates with relevant co‑op/internship experience will be considered.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in process engineering fundamentals and unit operations.
  Experience with AutoCAD for P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) review and design.
  Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Advanced Excel).
  Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems and process control logic is a strong plus.
