Job description

Responsibilities

Assist in lead a team of production staff to achieve objectives set out in departmental.

Product and Manufacturing Process at Production Floor. Look at ways on monitoring the performance & optimize production.

Do Analytical Research and Product Development – develop best practices, routines and innovation solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.

Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

Liaise with QC production to monitor Product Quality and support in troubleshooting and report writing.

Data collection, interpretation and report writing – presentation of data and reports to management.

Automation – Look into processes to ensure cost effectiveness & reduce workforce.

Support sales, production and plant expansion plan.

Monitor and manage on product and process issues.

Carry out and monitor production activity according to the production schedule and according to quality standards and technical specification.

Ensure production expenditure within the budget.

Ensure availability of resources for smooth and efficiency production run.

Constantly source for new improved method for efficiency improvement.

Keep up to data records on operation and preventive maintenance.

Continuously explore and organize programs for the productivity and quality improvement.

Identify training needs and source/organize training programs for subordinates.

People management, manpower planning and disciplinary handling.

Motivate and promote team spirits amongst subordinates and peers.

Create a conducive safe work environment and cultivate spirit of “Safety First”.

Ensuring that the quality and environmental management system conforms to the requirement of ISO9001:2015, ISO 45001 & ISO14001:2015.

Qualification and Experience

• Min Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent.
• Min 2-3 years working experience in related field.
• Good leadership, communication, problem solving, presentation, planning and organizingskills.
• Proficiency in computer, production system and MS Office.
