Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud architects, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and resources needed to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to increase team productivity annually.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to keep the team at the forefront of cloud technologies.
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across private, public, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure all cloud architecture projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, achieving at least a 90% on‑time delivery rate.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or risks that arise, minimizing disruption to timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, engineering, operations) to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Develop and enforce cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks, ensuring 100% compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve all major cloud architecture decisions, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic goals.
- Achieve a 25% reduction in cloud‑related costs through optimized architecture and resource management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on cloud initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure cloud solutions meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, achieving a 95% client satisfaction rate.
- Ensure the cloud architecture team delivers projects on time and within budget, maintaining a 90% on‑time delivery rate.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring 99.9% uptime and adherence to SLAs.
- Implement incident and disaster recovery processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, aiming for annual reductions in operational inefficiencies.

Key Requirements
- Has Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Has relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Certified Fellow). Additional certifications in leadership or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams of cloud architects or engineers.
- Demonstrates ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high‑performing teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making skills, balancing technical and business priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing at all levels of the organization.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with expertise in private, public, and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture frameworks (e.g., AWS Well‑Architected Framework, TOGAF) and tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large‑scale, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices.
