Job summary

A technology solutions company in Puchong, Malaysia, seeks a dynamic pre-sales executive to support their sales team by addressing technical inquiries and aiding in proposal presentations. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin/Cantonese is desirable. This full-time role offers competitive remuneration between RM 1,800 to RM 2,500 monthly.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in a pre-sales or similar role.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia and preferably Mandarin/Cantonese.
  • Ability to analyze and understand client requirements.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist sales team to respond to prospects’ technical inquiries or concerns.
  • Collect, analyse, clarify and understand prospects needs by attending requirement gathering meetings and provide a technical specification confirmation with a solution diagram on product capabilities.
  • Work with the sales team to determine solutions to customers’ challenges, customization needs and support the sales team in presenting proposals to clients.
  • Analyse the prospect’s tender requirement, provide the response according to the current state of the product, identify gaps and provide effort estimation of customization effort by obtaining necessary input from the product team.
  • Brief and consult sales team on new features of the product.
  • Maintain and improve the company’s demo site environment and ensure the software solution is updated and running at all times.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions on technical portions to meet both client and company needs.
