Job summary

A communications consultancy is seeking a PR & Communications Manager to develop and execute strategies for tech clients. Responsibilities include managing client relations, creating content, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of PR experience, preferably in an agency setting. This role is remote and offers a salary range of RM 8,000 – RM 10,000.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR and integrated communication strategies for tech and IT clients
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention
  • Build strong media relations with relevant industry and business press
  • Create and edit high-quality content including press releases, thought leadership articles, speeches, marketing collaterals, and reports
  • Lead and contribute to new business proposals and pitches
  • Mentor and guide junior team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across digital, content, and creative to deliver impactful campaigns
  • Participate in team-building and CSR initiatives to shape company culture
  • Bachelor’s Degree inMass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in PR/communications;agency experience is preferred
  • Strong track record with clients in thetech/IT or B2Bsector
  • Excellent writing skills across a range of formats and topics
  • Comfortable translating complex technical concepts into compelling content
  • Effective communicator and team leader who can work independently in a remote environment
  • Able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders
