We are looking for exceptional and highly motivated Power BI Developers to work with our US MNC. LOCAL MALAYSIANS (3 Positions)

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join the Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders across sales, distribution, and marketing domains.

You will work closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Gen AI solution teams to ensure that data models and visualizations align with Accenture’s data modernization and AI-driven initiatives.

The work

• Design, build, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data models (star/snowflake schema) and relationships to support efficient DAX calculations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to ensure high-quality, consistent, and validated data is available for reporting.
• Translate business requirements into visually compelling Power BI dashboards using KPIs relevant to sales, outlet, and marketing performance.
• Implement and manage Power BI dataflows, gateways, and workspace governance within the Azure environment.
• Conduct performance tuning for DAX queries and Power BI datasets to optimize refresh and response times.
• Support self-service BI enablement, ensuring proper documentation, dataset reuse, and end-user training.
• Integrate Power BI dashboards with other components such as Azure Databricks and AI-driven insights.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security roles, and row-level security (RLS).

Here’s what you need

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Power BI development and data modeling.

• Power BI Desktop & Service (data modeling, DAX, Power Query)
• SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures)
• Data visualization principles and UI/UX design for BI.
• Experience connecting Power BI to Azure-based data sources (Databricks, Data Lake, Synapse).
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data preparation using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
• Proven ability to translate complex data into intuitive business insights and visual stories.
• Understanding of data governance, RLS, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with Gen AI–enhanced analytics or AI-assisted insight generation.
• Exposure to Power BI Admin, workspace governance, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
