About the Role

The Portfolio Relationship Manager will play a crucial role in driving client engagement and ensuring the growth and retention of client portfolios. This key position involves managing and nurturing existing client relationships, identifying opportunities for portfolio expansion, delivering tailored financial solutions, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. This position involves leading a team, setting strategic direction, and fostering a high-performance culture to achieve collective goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role will ensure the company’s commitment to delivering value and building long-term partnerships is upheld.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring regular communication and addressing their financial needs and concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client portfolios by offering additional banking products and services that align with their financial goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client retention rates, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement with our financing solutions.
  • Manage and lead a team of relationship managers, providing guidance, setting strategic direction, and fostering a high-performance culture to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor client portfolios to ensure compliance with the company’s policies and regulatory requirements, proactively addressing any potential risks.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including credit, operations, and product development, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Analyze client portfolio performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes for both clients and the company.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to provide informed advice and insights to clients.
Key Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relationship management, preferably within the banking, financial services, or peer-to-peer financing sector.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, guide, and motivate a team, set clear strategic direction, and foster a high-performance culture to achieve business goals.
