A leading PCB manufacturing company in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a seasoned professional to oversee daily operations and ensure quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets are met. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in PCB manufacturing. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, optimizing resources, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and leading cross-functional team collaborations. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential, with knowledge of additional languages as a plus.
Oversee daily PCB factory operations to meet targets for quality, cost, delivery, and safety
Plan and manage production schedules to ensure timely customer deliveries
Optimize use of manpower, machinery, materials, and utilities
Monitor key production metrics like yield, cycle time, scrap rate, and productivity
Ensure compliance with PCB quality standards and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects
Collaborate with QC/QA teams for corrective actions and maintain audit readiness
Manage PCB manufacturing processes and support new product/process introductions
Improve process efficiency and reduce costs with engineering collaboration
Control manufacturing costs by minimizing waste and inventory loss
Lead and develop production and engineering teams, enforce safety and company policies
Maintain production equipment uptime through preventive maintenance and repairs
Promote workplace safety and environmental compliance
Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Quality teams
Support customer visits, technical problem solving, and report performance to management
Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related) preferred
Minimum 10 years PCB manufacturing experience (15 years without degree)
Knowledge of double-sided, multilayer (up to 12 layers), and HDI PCB processes
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English; knowledge of Chinese/Japanese a plus
