Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planner to join our team in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The Planner will be responsible for coordinating customer demand, developing production schedules, and ensuring smooth workflow across Assembly and Test operations. This role requires close collaboration with internal departments to monitor lot movement, resolve delays, and drive 100% on-time delivery performance.

As the position involves frequent communication with customers from Mandarin-speaking regions, candidates who can speak Mandarin are strongly preferred to ensure effective coordination and customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers on demand requirements, priorities, and the rolling forecast to ensure clear alignment.
  • Plan and schedule production activities based on available capacity, direct material/inventory levels, and customer forecasts (Assembly & Test).
  • Monitor lot movement and follow up with internal departments on any delays, including quality holds or administrative issues.
  • Ensure timely delivery performance and meet customer delivery commitments.
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration / Management or other related qualification.
  • Having experience in planning and production control in a manufacturing environment is added advantage. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good computer knowledge and presentation skill.
  • Independent as well as possess good interpersonal skill.
  • Possess positive working attitude, high level of commitment, and integrity.
