ECON Healthcare Group – Johor Bahru, Johor

Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy services as required by the ECON Medicare Centre and Nursing Home Sdn Bhd’s customers and staff.
  • Carry out assessment on residents as part of the pre‑admission assessment and to conduct regular routine assessment on the in‑house residents who may require physio service.
  • Recommend appropriate physio programme for the resident.
  • Keep good records of all services performed and to submit weekly case reports to the Centre/Home/Hospital manager. A monthly consolidated report for workload statistics and other concerns to do with service standards would be required to be submitted to the Country Director.
  • Administrate and take charge of the physiotherapy office, station, equipment and all relevant facilities. To report any faults to the manager/superior. Ensure proper documentation and billing for patients.
  • Coordinate and work closely with the centre /home/ward staff nurse for the conduct of physio or rehab programme for the residents.
  • Ensure that residents’ best interest is being looked after at all times.
  • Actively promote the physiotherapy services both in‑house as well as those prospective clients externally.
  • Be responsible for the improvement of day‑to‑day operations and to make suggestion to the usage of such physiotherapy facilities at the Centre/Homes/Hospital.
  • When required, provide training for therapy and non‑therapy staff. When applicable, supervise staff assisting in the implementation of therapy programmes.
  • As when required, will be assigned to perform home services or services at other designated locations besides Centre/ Home/Hospital.
