Job description

Curie Oncology KL Sdn Bhd, a leading provider of cancer care services, is seeking a talented Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications to our patients, while contributing to the overall quality of our oncology services.

Key Responsibilities

• Check all medications supplied are according to appropriate prescription with accurate labels and correct physical medications.
• Oversee all aspects of medication usage, including drug dispensing, distribution, storage and provision of drug information Responsibleforthem
• Responsibleinensuring complianceto local acts and regulations.
• Counsel patient on proper medication administration & technique (where applicable) and advise on appropriate storage condition.
• Perform medications dispensing and counselling for patients that require additional information.
• Perform appropriateness review of all prescriber orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, and make necessary interventions prior to dispensing medications.
• Provides information to health care practitioners or patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Providing medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, side effects and interactions.
• Assistthe department onactivitiessuch as CDR / TPN Services, periodical pharmacy location / equipment inspections for proper / correct storage, inventory control and expiry dates.
• Provide high quality medicine information.
• Report to Pharmacist Manager.

Key Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Pharmacy recognized by Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia with current Annual Retention Certificate.
• Possesses experience in hospital pharmacy setting.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.Ability to perform accurately and methodically following published procedures.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
