Job summary

A recruitment firm in Shah Alam is seeking an operations assistant to support the Director in managing company operations. The candidate will perform internal audits, coordinate between departments, and handle customer relations. Ideal candidates should have a Diploma or Degree, at least 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience, and strong administrative skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, along with multi-tasking abilities. Language skills in Malay, Mandarin, and English are preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in the overall operations of the company and mobilize resources to ensure delivery of customer satisfaction, complaint handling, risk management and other functions that may be required.
  • Appointed as Internal Auditor to carry out the internal audit at least once a year (FSSC & GDPMD).
  • Coordinate with all departments to ensure operating practices, procedures and processes are fully implemented.
  • Coordinate with customers to maintain strong relationships and meet their needs.
  • Support the sales & marketing team by providing product information and documentation.
  • Source new products from local or overseas suppliers when required.
  • Issue overseas purchase orders and follow up on import shipments with the forwarder.
  • Handle SST exemption applications, import permits, new or renewal business license applications.
  • Liaise with insurance agents for insurance claims.
  • Overall responsibility for employee recruitment, orientation, training needs and opportunities, job descriptions and performance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time.
