  • Setup and Configuration:Design, set up, and configure performance testing environments, ensuring they mirror production systems and can simulate realistic user loads.
  • Test Planning:Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to define performance test requirements, metrics, and goals.
  • Test Execution:Create and execute performance tests using industry-standard tools (eg: LoadRunner, Grafana, Fiddler) to measure response times, throughput, and system stability under various conditions.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis:Identify performance bottlenecks and failures during testing, perform root cause analysis, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
  • Automation and Framework Development:Develop automated performance test scripts and reusable testing frameworks to streamline the testing process.
  • Performance Monitoring:Utilize monitoring tools to track and report on key performance metrics such as CPU, memory usage, and network bandwidth during test execution.
  • Collaboration:Work cross-functionally with development and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and optimize application performance.
  • Reporting:Provide detailed reports and documentation of test results, findings, and optimization recommendations for stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in setting up and configuring performance testing environments and tools.
  • Proficiency with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Grafana, Fiddler (MUST)
  • Strong knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with server monitoring tools and metrics analysis.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for identifying and resolving performance issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present test results and recommendations.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimizing system configurations isa plus.
