As a Payroll Supervisor at Motosikal Dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees in our Gurun Kedah location. Reporting to the Accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function and providing guidance to the payroll team.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payments, deductions, and remittances
• Review and validate payroll data to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Prepare and submit payroll reports and filings as required
• Liaise with HR and other departments to resolve payroll‑related queries and issues
• Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to streamline processes
• Review and verify employee medical claims to ensure they adhere to company policy
• Monitor medical benefit utilisation and highlight abnormal or excessive trends
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, and update processes accordingly

What we’re looking for

• Diploma in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll supervisory or assistant role
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including tax calculations, deductions, and reporting
• Proficient in using payroll software such as Orisoft and Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross‑functional teams
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills to ensure payroll accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
