Job description

Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to hospital menus and dietary instructions.

Deliver patient meals accurately based on diet orders and ward schedules.

Ensure food handling, storage, and service comply with hygiene, safety, and Halal standards.

Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas, pantries, and service equipment.

Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.

Support catering services for hospital events, meetings, or special functions.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas.

Follow hospital policies, SOPs, and infection control procedures at all times.

Provide polite and professional service to patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Report any food quality issues, equipment faults, or safety concerns to supervisors.
