Job summary

A leading industrial park developer in Malaysia seeks a motivated Paralegal/Legal Clerk to maintain and organize legal documents while assisting the legal team with research and compliance. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in Office Administration or Law, 1-2 years of experience in a legal environment, and proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. What You’ll Do:
  • Maintain, manage and organize all legal documents, files and correspondences, ensuring accuracy and efficient retrieval.
  • Handle the full cycle of document processing and follow up on pending matters.
  • Assist with basic legal research, primarily retrieving specific legal precedents or regulations as directed.
  • Prepare, proofread and format various legal documents, including letters, notices and correspondences.
  • Support legal team in preparing and managing compliance checklists and routine reporting requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Law or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with legal tech platform is a plus.
  • Proactive and a willingness to learn about property development legal processes.
