A leading legal services provider in Malaysia is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Clerk to manage legal documents and assist with legal research. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a related field, 1-2 years of administrative experience, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. This role is crucial for supporting the legal team and ensuring compliance with legal processes.

Qualifications

Join Our Team as a Paralegal / Legal Clerk!

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain, manage and organize all legal documents, files and correspondences, ensuring accuracy and efficient retrieval.
  • Handle the full cycle of document processing and follow up on pending matters.
  • Assist with basic legal research, primarily retrieving specific legal precedents or regulations as directed.
  • Prepare, proofread and format various legal documents, including letters, notices and correspondences.
  • Support legal team in preparing and managing compliance checklists and routine reporting requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, Law or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with legal tech platform is a plus.
  • Proactive and a willingness to learn about property development legal processes.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
