REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills and abilities required for the role)

Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and manage operational processes within the sales and marketing domain.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Language Skills

  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to work on shift including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday.

Responsibility

Act as person in-charge in ensuring all type of work activities and workplace environment within AFPC premise are adhere provisions under OSH Act 1994. To prepare all safety report required and submit to DOSH Office follow dateline

To oversee daily AFPC Operations is running smoothly and safely for the convenience of Staffs

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Strategic Impact on Organisation)

  1. Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health by conducting workplace safety compliance audit within AFPC premise. Report on any hazardous condition and give advice for improvement to management. Follow up the action taken within the time given
  2. Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
  3. Ensure that all workplace incident / accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
  4. Ensure accident classified under NADOPOD reported to DOSH office within time frame ( 7 days )
  5. To re-act on Government Enforcement Body inspection and non- compliance notices ( DOSH & BOMBA )
  6. Hold appointment as Secretary for AFPC OSH Committee organization. Manage and revise the agenda for Chairman before meeting. Formulate & distribute minutes to the Health & Safety Committee members.
  7. Attending Safety & Health Officer course conducted by NIOSH or other Safety Training Centre recognized by DOSH
  8. Familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514) & Regulations, Factory & Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139) and other related act enforced by Local Authority body.
  9. Have good communication skill and able to interact with management leaders in resolving any matters which highlighted as non-compliance to workplace safety.
  10. Have knowledge and familiar with AFPC operation working way to enable correct advice given suit to the actual workplace environment
  11. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: The employee may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor or management. These tasks may be within or outside the scope of their primary job responsibilities and are intended to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department and organization. Assignments may vary based on business needs, operational priorities, and organizational changes. Employees are expected to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the success of the team by undertaking such additional tasks as needed.
