Job description

Optometrist (Retail) - From RM5,500 ++ (Based on Experience)

Perform optometry services as per standard operating procedures and policies, including examining patients’ eyes to detect signs of injury, disease, abnormality, or vision defect.

Provide advice on visual problems and prescribe visual aids.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Greet and welcome customers, assist customers by recommending products and locating desired products, including handling customer enquiries and complaints.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Degree, Advanced Degree in Optometry.
• Positive attitude, passionate about collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal & verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in retail business hours, including weekend and public holiday.
• Multi‑tasking, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate & Registered with Malaysian Optical Council (must be shown in the store).
