A Cutting & Side Seal Operator Responsible in the context of flexible packaging is accountable for the efficient and safe operation of Cutting & Side Seal machinery, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and effective collaboration with the production team.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise setup and calibration of Cutting & Side Seal machinery in flexible packaging.
• Oversee and execute the Cutting & Side Seal process for efficient and high-quality production.
• Manage quality control checks, ensuring prompt addressing of defects.
• Lead strict adherence to safety protocols, prioritizing a safe working environment.
• Supervise handling of cut materials, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and transportation.
• Lead routine maintenance on Cutting & Side Seal equipment, focusing on safety and minimizing downtime.
• Promote collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless communication and problem-solving.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, documenting quantities, settings, safety measures, and deviations.
• Adhere to personal cleanliness and hygiene practices, including proper handwashing and protective clothing use.
• Prevent cross-contamination through proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Participate in GMP training programs, stay informed about best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Promptly report any product safety concerns or incidents to supervisors or the safety and quality team.
