Job summary

A leading manufacturer of vegetable oils in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Senior Executive to manage inbound and outbound logistics. Responsibilities include coordinating feedstock availability, dispatching animal feed orders, and overseeing weighbridge operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Job description

Operations Senior Executive (Inbound and Outbound)

Assist in ensuring timely availability of feedstock to support smooth plant operations and prevent delays/stoppages.

Support supplier and transporter engagement by maintaining effective communication and coordination.

Monitor feedstock quality for plant consumption and escape any issues or recovery actions when required.

Outbound Operations

Coordinate animal feed sales orders, dispatches, transportation, and related documentation.

Ensure adherence to quality standards prior to dispatch and assist in arranging external storage facilities if necessary.

Support in ensuring deliveries (bulk & SFD) are executed on time, efficiently, and with zero in-transit losses.

Weighbridge Management

Assist in weighbridge operations including periodic calibration, basic audits, and monitoring discrepancies in cargo movements.

Support reconciliation of feed material received against contract and assist in recovery of dues if applicable.

Qualification / Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.

3–6 years of experience in:

Logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.

Coordinating inbound (raw materials) and outbound (finished goods) operations.

Working with cross-functional teams (warehouse staff, drivers, planners, etc.).

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
