Job description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented Operations Officer to join our travel & tours team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our premium transportation services—including airport transfers, private charters, tours, and corporate event transport. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily vehicle schedules, driver assignments, and route planning.
  • Monitor real-time operations and resolve issues such as delays, breakdowns, and last-minute changes.Act as a point of contact for client confirmations, itinerary adjustments, and special requests.
  • Ensure all trips adhere to service standards, safety guidelines, and client expectations.
  • Oversee fleet readiness including cleanliness, maintenance schedules, fuel tracking, and documentation.
  • Conduct periodic vehicle inspections to ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Supervise driver performance, attendance, grooming standards, and adherence to protocols.
  • Conduct driver briefings, training sessions, and route orientations.
  • Assist with coordinating itineraries for tours, charters, and event transportation.
  • Manage booking systems, manifests, trip documents, and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as permits, insurance, and certifications.
  • Implement safety procedures, emergency protocols, and incident reporting processes.
  • Prepare daily operational reports, trip logs, incident summaries, and KPI updates.
  • Track operational expenses including fuel, tolls, and overtime.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in transport operations, travel & tours, logistics, or hospitality.
  • Experience managing drivers, fleet coordination, or client-facing operations is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, booking systems, and operational tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of route planning, navigation apps, and traffic patterns.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • On-call availability for urgent operational matters.
