Job summary

A leading hostel management company in Subang Jaya seeks an Operations Executive to manage staff movements, handle hostel operations, and ensure tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate has an SPM qualification, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and at least 1 year of experience. This role requires a team player who can work independently and under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Possess SPM qualification or above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 1 year of working experience.
  • Willing to learn, fast learner and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Able to work extra and in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff movement and hostel transfers, including room arrangements.
  • Manage new worker deployment by ensuring hostel readiness.
  • Handle all hostel-related matters including maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Liaise with teams and external parties for hostel setup and rental matters.
  • Monitor hostel capacity and propose new sourcing to avoid overcrowding.
  • Manage new and renewal tenancy agreements.
  • Assist in utility applications and document preparation.
  • Support on ad-hoc operational tasks as required.

Operations Executive (Hostel Management)
  • Coordinate staff movement and hostel transfers, including room arrangements, key/access card preparation, and internal updates.
  • Manage new worker deployment by ensuring hostel readiness and providing necessary details and equipment.
  • Handle all hostel-related matters, including setup, maintenance, cleanliness, utility support, and resolving complaints.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external parties (landlords, agents, service providers) for hostel setup, rental, and tenancy matters.
  • Monitor hostel capacity and propose new unit sourcing to avoid overcrowding.
  • Manage new and renewal tenancy agreements.
  • Assist in utility applications (TNB, Syabas) and ensure necessary documents are prepared.
  • Support on ad-hoc operational tasks as required.
