Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably within the retail or apparel industry.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operations management principles and practices, including process optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Exhibit strong team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, train, and manage a team of staff effectively.
- Possess excellent inventory control skills, including stock management, loss prevention, and demand forecasting.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Demonstrate proficiency in visual merchandising techniques to enhance store aesthetics and drive sales.
- Exhibit strong sales management skills, including sales target setting, performance monitoring, and sales strategy implementation.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Responsibility
Daily Operations Support
- Assist in overseeing daily operations of all assigned outlets to ensure smooth workflow and service standards.
- Act as the first point of support for outlet-level operational issues.
- Follow up and resolve day-to-day operational challenges promptly.
- Ensure outlets comply with SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and company policies.
Maintenance & Facility Coordination
- Handle and follow up on outlet maintenance issues (equipment breakdown, repairs, renovation touch-ups, utilities issues, etc.).
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, landlords, or contractors for maintenance works.
- Track maintenance requests, timelines, and completion status.
- Ensure outlets are safe, functional, and operational at all times.
Outlet Training & Operational Coaching
- Assist operational training for new outlets or new staff.
- Support outlet managers and supervisors in enforcing SOPs and service standards.
- Conduct or assist with refresher training when required (operations flow, service standards, basic cost control).
- Identify training gaps and report to Operations Manager.
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns at outlet level (promotions, new menu launches, festive campaigns).
- Ensure marketing materials (posters, table talkers, POS materials) are properly displayed and implemented.
- Coordinate between marketing team and outlet teams for campaign rollout.
- Gather feedback from outlets on promotion effectiveness and operational impact.
Manpower Planning & Arrangement
- Assist in manpower scheduling, deployment, and rearrangement across outlets based on operational needs.
- Support outlet managers during manpower shortages, peak periods, or emergencies.
- Coordinate temporary manpower support between outlets when needed.
- Monitor attendance, leave planning, and staffing gaps and elevate issues early.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Assist in monitoring outlet performance including sales trends, manpower efficiency, and operational discipline.
- Prepare basic operational reports and updates for management.
- Follow up on action items after meetings, and action inspections.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a bridge between outlet teams and management.
- Ensure instructions, updates, and SOP changes are clearly communicated to outlets.
- Assist in handling operational complaints or escalations professionally.
Ad-Hoc Operational Duties
- Support new outlet opening preparation and setup (if applicable).
- Assist in inspections, and operational reviews.
- Perform any other operational tasks assigned by management to support business needs.
