Cezars Kitchen Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage multiple food service operations across Melaka and Johor. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring consistent food quality, leading outlet teams, and achieving financial and service performance targets.
The successful candidate will work closely with Head Office and outlet management teams to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and operational objectives.

Role Scope & Travel
- Responsible for multiple outlets across Melaka and Johor
- Frequent site visits required (approximately 80% of working time)
- Approved work-related travel expenses (mileage, tolls, accommodation when applicable) are reimbursable in accordance with company policy
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Ensure consistent operational standards, food quality, and service excellence across all assigned outlets
- Conduct monthly kitchen and operational inspections and submit reports to Head Office within 24 hours
- Provide hands‑on operational support, including kitchen and service operations when required
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and support Kitchen Managers, Café Managers, and outlet teams
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development
- Conduct annual performance reviews and provide regular performance feedback
- Approve staff scheduling, timecards, and leave requests to ensure optimal labour coverage
Financial & Business Performance
- Drive sales growth and operational efficiency within the assigned region
- Manage labour cost targets (25–30%) and cost of goods sold (COGS) performance
- Review and approve monthly supplier payment lists
- Conduct monthly P&L review meetings with outlet management teams
- Ensure achievement of controllable profit targets
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, school representatives, and internal stakeholders
- Represent Cezars Kitchen as a professional brand ambassador
- Ensure high standards of customer service across all outlets
- Support catering operations, including special events, evening, and weekend functions when required
Planning, Reporting & Communication
- Plan and coordinate site visit schedules at least one week in advance
- Prepare and submit operational, financial, and performance reports
- Communicate effectively with Head Office, outlet teams, clients, and vendors
- Provide recommendations to improve operational performance and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role within food service operations
- Experience in school kitchens, catering, restaurants, or fast‑food operations
- Strong leadership, decision‑making, and analytical skills
- Customer‑focused with a professional and results‑driven approach
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written)
- Computer literate (ordering, purchasing, reporting, and basic financial tracking)
- Typhoid and Food Handling Certification (required)
- Willing and able to travel regularly between Melaka and Johor
