Overview
Chan Chee Kheong & Brothers Travel Sdn. Bhd. – Ipoh, Perak
Responsibilities
- Develop creative and marketable tour packages and itineraries for different travel markets
- Conduct product research and destination studies, identifying new attractions, accommodation and unique experiences
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers (hotels, ground handlers, transport providers and attraction partners) to secure competitive contract rates
- Prepare package costings, quotations and pricing proposals based on market demand and seasonality
- Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team to support brochure creation, promotions and promotional content
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of operational documents (e.g. rooming lists, service vouchers, tour briefing sheets)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international partners
- Stay updated on visa requirements, travel regulations, and international tourism trends relevant to the destinations offered
- Participate in travel fairs when necessary
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in tour operations or travel coordination
- Strong organisational and time management skills, able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Professional and confident in dealing with clients, vendors, and team members
- Good problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges smoothly
- Able to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and care
