Job summary

A leading construction firm in Penang is looking for a QAQC Engineer to ensure the successful implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) on construction projects. The role includes preparing quality plans, conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. This is an on-site position in Bayan Lepas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as QAQC Engineer or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or semiconductor projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality Management System (QMS) is implemented efficiently.
• Oversee project quality for compliance with codes and specifications.
• Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Conduct quality control inspections of vendors and contractors.
• Maintain quality assurance records and conduct periodic inspections.
• Coordinate inspections with Consultant and Site PIC.
